Round four of the popular No Limits Motorcycle Racing Championship series makes its annual visit to Croft Circuit near Darlington this weekend (June 11/12th) with another capacity field set to battle out the various classes.

With all to play for in the various solo classes, one of the more popular concepts with No Limits is the Endurance class whereby riders battle it out over a three-hour race on Saturday afternoon around the full international 2.127-mile North Yorkshire circuit which means a race of around 120 laps!

As well as the Endurance race scheduled for a 2.55pm start on Saturday, the battle for supremacy in the other classes will be just as intense over a total of 23 races which include many riders who contest the support classes in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship.

Local rider James Alderson from Lanchester in County Durham is now fully recovered from injury sustained last year and leads the Pirelli Super Series 600 on his R Alderson & Sons/Lanchester Wines-backed Triumph 675. However, just one point behind is Finley Arscott (JR Performance Kawasaki) with Tom Fisher (Kime/G&S Racing Yamaha) a further two points back in third.

Runner-up in last year’s Pirelli National Junior Superstock Championship, Joe Talbot, leads the Pirelli 1000 Super Series on his Warrington MOT Centre Kawasaki whilst in the Premier 1000 Championship, Liam Murtagh and Damien Fricker can’t be separated at the head of the table.

Jonathan Hedges leads the Metzeler Newcomer 600 series, with Shaun Evans heading the Pre-Injection 600 Cup. Luke Stanley heads the Moto-46 Streetbike Cup with Paul Gallington in command in the Ducati Coventry JHP Challenge.

Reece Young leads the Metzeler Newcomer 1000s, with Sam Throw heading the No Limits 600 Cup. Paul Barker heads the 1000 Cup whilst in the Standard Twins class, it’s Martin Crammond who leads the way. Former top BSB racer Matt Layt heads the Super Twins class but doesn’t feature in the entry list, but Paul Manning will continue to be the man to beat in the CB500 series.

The Motul ACU National and Club Endurance Championships feature many riders with BSB experience, including Yorkshire brothers and British Champions, Jonathan, and James Lodge along with Scotsman Callum Grigor and Tyneside ace Barry Teasdale.

Local interest is considerable with the likes of Darlington brothers Richie and Jonathan Harrison in action, as well as Hartlepool’s Tommy Fielding whilst Northallerton rider Andrew Stockdale will be hoping for a good weekend on the Stockdale Auto Repairs BMW 1000.

Practice gets underway at 9.30am on Saturday with the first of seven races getting underway at 11.45. Sunday sees practice from 12.00 noon with a further 16 races scheduled from 12.15pm.

Adult admission is just £15.00 on both days in advance or £17.00 on the day with accompanied children aged fifteen and under admitted FREE on both days. There is also FREE car parking and FREE paddock access.

Meanwhile, with just over a couple of weeks to go until Croft Circuit hosts the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship over the weekend of June 25/26, advance tickets are still available. Adult advance prices are £15 for Saturday (£17 on gate), £30 for Sunday (£35 on gate) and £40 for a weekend ticket (£47 on gate, subject to availability). Prices for 13 to 15-year-olds are priced at £5, £8, and £10 respectively and all accompanied children aged twelve and under go free.
