Croft Circuit will return to its traditional summer slot on the British Touring Car Championship calendar next year following confirmation of the all-important dates for the 2022 season today (June 30).

In what is set to be a spectacular summer of racing at the North Yorkshire venue, Britain’s premier motorsport series will make its annual trip to the north east on June 25/26 for Rounds 13, 14 & 15.

The BTCC’s visit to Croft next June means that fans will be able to see touring car thrills ’n’ spills twice in less than 12 months, with the series scheduled to compete on September 18/19 this year.

The 2022 season will begin at Donington Park before visiting Brands Hatch Indy, Thruxton and Oulton Park before rounding out the first half of the campaign here.

Knockhill, Snetterton, a second trip to Thruxton and Silverstone will follow after the mid-season break before a champion is crowned back at Brands Hatch in early October.

Alongside the BTCC, the ultra-competitive mix of TOCA support championships will also take centre stage over the course of the weekend at Croft - further adding to the edge-of-the-seat entertainment.
